Prerequisites & Entry Requirements
1. Who Can Register? (Entry Requirements) Registration is open to runners aged 18 and older (born before January 8, 2009), who meet one of the following criteria achieved within the last two years (2025–2026):
✅ 100 km Race: Under 20:00 hours.
✅ 100 Mile Race: Under 36:00 hours.
✅ 24-Hour Race: Minimum distance of 120 km.
Important Note: We accept results from non-official runs as well! A link to a verifiable activity (Strava, Garmin, etc.) is sufficient.
Exceptions Committee: Do you believe you are capable but do not meet the formal criteria (e.g., you have results from a challenging trail race)? Please send a detailed request to spartanion24h@gmail.com by September 30, 2026. Each request will be reviewed individually.

Who is considered a DNF?
In the 24-hour category, a runner is considered a DNF (Did Not Finish) if they fail to complete a minimum distance of 42.2 km. Runners who do not reach this distance within the 24-hour time limit will not be classified as official finishers and will not receive a finisher’s trophy.
Awards, Categories & Records
Categories & Winners: The festive awards ceremony will take place on Friday morning, January 22, 2027, immediately following the conclusion of the last race and the verification of official results. Prestigious glass trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in the General Classification (Overall):

🥉 3rd Place: Men / Women
⚠️ Please Note: A category with fewer than three participants will not be eligible for a podium ceremony.
Bonuses & Record Breaking: Spartanion Tel Aviv is a race that champions excellence. Special cash prizes will be awarded for the following achievements (subject to the full race regulations):

International Recognition: Race results are officially recognized by the IAU and serve as qualifying criteria for prestigious international events, including:
🇬🇷 Spartathlon (Greece).
🇺🇸 Badwater 135 (USA) and other major international races.
Race Hall of Fame
The race takes place on a fast, flat course that serves as a qualifier for World and Continental Championships.

Spartathlon Criteria (Greece)
The Spartanion is an official qualifying race. To apply for the 2027 Spartathlon, you must achieve the following distances:
Ballot Entry (Lottery):
Men: Over 180 km
Women: Over 170 km
Direct Entry (Automatic Qualification):
Men: Over 225 km
Women: Over 212.5 km
